Microsoft Teams Setup: What You Need
- A stable internet connection
- A laptop, desktop, tablet, or smartphone
- A quiet, private space where you won't be interrupted
- You do not need a Microsoft account
- Headphones or earbuds (optional, but recommended for privacy and sound quality)

How to Join a Teams Video Session
- You'll receive a Microsoft Teams link by email before session
- Click the link 5 minutes before your session starts
- Choose “continue on this browser” or open in teams app
- Enter your name and click Join Now
- Wait in the virtual waiting room until your session begins
- Make sure your microphone and camera are turned on or prefer not to use your camera that is absolutely fine

Back-Up Plan If Disconnected
If the internet drops or Teams disconnects during the session
- Wait 2-3 minutes and try re-joining using the same link
- If it still doesn't work, I will try to contact you via:
- Phone or WhatsApp (if you've consented to this)
- We can either:
- Reconnect via Teams
- Move the session to phone if needed
- Or reschedule without penalty

no platform is 100% secure. Zoom is GDPR-compliant and widely used in the healthcare and mental health sectors,
but clients are responsible for ensuring that their own environment is private and secure.
Sessions are never recorded without express written consent.
You are encouraged to use headphones and attend sessions in a space where you feel safe and free from interruptions.
